  • steer, drive, fly, pilot, ride
He was driving car along the road.
    Can you ride a bicycle?
He was the first man ever to fly that type of aircraft.
She steered with one hand while trying to adjust the rear-view mirror with the other.
He piloted a ship through the canal.
  • steer, guide, pilot
He guided the child across the street.
He steered the boat carefully between the rocks.
    Duff piloted a ship through a canal.
